Agent Highlight: Steve Pulk

Parks is proud to highlight an amazing agent from our Smyrna office, Steve Pulk!

Steve has been a licensed agent for 25 years and a member of the Parks family for 11 years. When it comes to real estate, he specializes in property management, flipping houses, and helping individuals and investors buy and sell properties. Prior to his career in real estate, Steve spent 18 years running and owning grocery retail stores.

“Steve gives all of his heart to everything he does. This man is fiercely loyal, totally engaged, and big of heart. Each day he looks for ways he can help or support his fellow agents in our office. Not only does he help tremendously with things around the office, but he also does that all while managing over 90 rental properties and keeping up his sales volume. The remarkable thing about Steve is that I hardly ever get a complaint about him – which is quite an accomplishment when you handle property management. We often refer to him as ‘The Incredible Pulk’,” stated Virginia Pappafotis, Managing Broker of Parks in Smyrna.

Steve chose to become a real estate agent because he wanted to be the product. “After years of retail and all of its issues of long hours, working seven days a week, and inventory being ripped off, I decided to be the product. I like making things happen for people and making someone smile has big rewards. During my time flipping houses before I became an agent, I realized I love breathing new life into old homes. I even invite the old owner back to the house so they can see the care I took in bringing new life to their old home,” Steve said.

When asked why he chose to join the Parks Family of REALTORS®, Steve stated, “Parks was very strong in the area and seemed to be open to my way of doing business. I learn something new every day here – whether it be from Bob, my broker Virginia, or other agents in my office. It’s important to keep an open mind to new things and new ideas, as well as understanding the vision of what path to take in life and business.” If Steve could offer some tips to new agents, they would be to listen to all, pause to make comment, and to make sure you understand what's before you, then step forward.

In his spare time, Steve likes going to his lake house to fish and enjoy nature on ATV rides. He also loves music and playing drums. Fun Fact: For the past 21 years, Steve has been a big-time tailgater for the Tennessee Titans. His name can be found on the founder's wall located on the west side of the stadium. “We tailgate in parking lot N, so make sure to stop in! We would love to see you,” Steve stated.
